It’s about time to wrap up the Quez Chronicles Vlog. This has been a dope project that I plan to continue to explore in different ways. I’m sure I will do some similar things this summer from home. I am also thinking of putting something together for a vlog in Europe so people back home can see what my life is like out here. Once again I appreciate all the feedback and everyone that took the time to even watch one of the videos. The experience was fun for me and for those that continue to keep up with what I am doing with my career and my travels here in Europe, I will continue to do the blogs and game recaps with highlights and statistics. Also have some other things in the works to keep the content fresh for you guys. One last shout out to my videographer Thomas Biggars. Everyone has been commenting on his skills with the camera and his editing. Also shout out to my boys JJ, Tommy, Gent, Demarcus, A.J., D.J., Fahey, Fat, Tim (My trainer) and my big bro Huff for being a part of it all. And of course my family. Here is episode 4!
The Quez Chronicles Vlog: Home Visit Part 3
Here you guys go. Episode 3 of my surprise trip home to Dallas from my 3rd professional basketball season out here in Germany. In this episode you will see me and my boy Dwight take a road trip to Seguin, Texas to surprise my little brother at his basketball game. Big shout out to his team the Concordia Tornados as they just won their conference tournament giving themselves a chance to win the division 3 national championship. After that we got right back on the road and met up with all my boys including my big brother Michael Huff for a big welcome home dinner. This episode is concluded at the night club Synn Lounge where me and Mike co-hosted our coming home party. Once again I really appreciate the feedback as the response to the series has been great. Enjoy!
The Quez Chronicles Vlog: Home Visit Part 2
Thanks to everyone that is taking the time to watch this 4 part vlog series put together by myself and videographer Thomas Biggars. It is a little scary to let people see what my life is like this closely but I enjoyed the process and the response to part 1 and the preview trailer have been awesome. Here in Part 2 I was more comfortable with the cameras so I was a little more vocal in the video. This episode is highlighted by an individual basketball workout at UTA with my trainer Tim Martin and one of my former teammates Dwight Gentry. After that I spent a little time shopping with my number 1 lady, my mom. The episode finishes up with me getting to meet up with one of my best friends J.J. after not seeing him for nearly 6 years. This episode is a little shorter because “Glass”, the club I hosted my party at that night didn’t allow the cameras to follow us. It’s all good though, we still had fun. Once again thank you guys for the views, feedback, shares, likes, and retweets. I hope you all continue to enjoy this inside look at my weekend home. Part 3 coming soon!
The Quez Chronicles Vlog: Home Visit Part 1
Hey everyone, thanks for taking the time to check out this new project of mine. I decided to document my trip home using visuals for you guys instead of writing and blogging about my adventures like usual. I didn’t change anything for the filming of this 4 part series so everything you see is genuinely normal day to day life for me. Part 1 is highlighted by my arrival into Dallas, my rental car mix up (Thank my sister Erica for the beautiful Kia i left in smh lol), my first time at a UTA basketball game to see my alma mater in live action, and most importantly the surprise of my mom and pop when they saw I was back without telling them. Enjoy everyone!
The Quez Chronicles: Home Visit Vlog Preview
Hey everyone, for the past week or so I have been speaking about a project I did for HaynesHouse while I was back home in Dallas a few weeks ago. I want to take a quick second to explain the project in greater detail and leave you guys with some exclusive footage of what you can expect if you decide to tune in and check it out. I really think you guys will love it.
Basically the project is a 4 part vlog series that brings “The Quez Chronicles blog” to life. The things that I would usually write about and post here on HaynesHouse were filmed over one weekend. I had my boy Thomas Biggars a local videographer link up with me and film the whole project. He did an amazing job capturing all the moments that I would normally write about. The vlog is very professionally done and I think you will all be impressed with his work. As for me, I just did what I would normally do while at home, work out and kick it with friends and family. There were however some special moments that I thought would make for great footage. First, I didn’t tell my family I was coming home. Only my older sister Erica knew so it was a complete surprise to my mother, father, and little brother Nick. Second, I had never seen my little brother play a college basketball game since I am always in season while he is in season so I thought it would be cool to drive out and surprise him at his game. Third, one of my best friends JJ got in a little trouble and had to be gone for a while so in these vlogs you will see me see him for the first time in 6 years. Lastly, I wanted to get some good workout footage because a lot of people ask me about my workouts and what I do to get better. There are some good drills in there for you guys. All the other stuff you will have to tune in to see!
